Phishing is a fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by pretending to be a trustworthy entity in electronic communications.

Community Bank does not request personal information about you via email. If you receive an email asking for personal information, it is likely a phishing attempt.
To protect yourself from phishing attempts:

  • Never share personal information through email.
  • Verify the sender’s email address and look for inconsistencies.
  • Be cautious of emails with urgent requests or threats.
  • Use security software and keep it up to date.

To protect our customers’ accounts from fraudulent activity, we have blocked all foreign transactions outside the USA and, occasionally, some states within the US. By notifying us, we can lift any applicable block on your card to avoid the inconvenience of rejected transactions.

If you don’t notify us, your Community Bank Debit Card transactions may be blocked, leading to rejected transactions while you are traveling.

If you don’t have internet banking and would like to start using CB2GO mobile banking, visit one of our customer service representatives and tell them you would like to start using CB2GO.

If you need to reset your online banking password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. Follow the prompts to verify your identity, and you will be able to reset your password securely.
