Palmer Elected to Board of Directors for Community Bank of Mississippi

Thomas W. Colbert, Sr., Senior Chairman of the Board for Community Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Community Bank, is proud to announce that E. Scott Palmer has been elected to the Board of Directors for Community Bank of Mississippi. 

Scott Palmer is the President and Principal at Palmer Insurance Agency, Inc, an insurance agency located in Forest, MS. Palmer has served the Forest community for decades as not only a trusted insurance advisor, but as an advocate for the local community. 

Palmer is a 1978 graduate of The University of Mississippi, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. A passionate supporter of the causes important to him, Palmer serves on the Board of Directors for S. E. Lackey Memorial Hospital, is a member of the Chancellor’s Trust of the University of Mississippi, as well as a past Board Member of the Ole Miss Alumni Association. He is a Past President and current Board Member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi, additionally, he serves the organization as a continuing education instructor. He also served the Forest Rotary Club as Past President and a Paul Harris Fellow. Palmer is also an active member of Forest Baptist Church.
